I also replaced the third brake light with a smoked LED one. Keep an eye on the seal around the light. They’re known to degrade and then water gets in and soaks your headliner

Replaced it already and it came with a nice new seal. The old one was bone dry, like to the point that it had crispy spiders in it.

I have noticed a steady uptick of T shirts that threaten to do something to you if you “disrespect the Flag” and I have noticed it a lot more in Airports more than other places. My cousins best friend is easily 350+lbs and always makes a huge production. who do you think you’re intimidating? all I have to do is run 20feet. Run is a bit of an exageration, mildly jog. the guy walked 100 feet to grab a circular saw and comes back out of breath.

The affliction and nineline shirts are the most extreme in that department. AAF (America as fuck) has a lot super political but borderline comical and they know it. Its been so long since I've seen an evil Mazda logo. There's a slammed ms3 around my area I occasionally see that doesn't know how not to floor it regardless of driving traffic with them. Stop n go traffic? Wait for a 20 ft gap and mash it!

Yes and no. You’re definitely much more “aware” when you carry because if you’re ever caught in a situation you’re automatically the guy with the gun. So be it a confrontation at a gas station or a speeding ticket you have to be mentally prepared for all. I personally have a little speech if I do ever get pulled over while carrying, what I’ll say, what I’ll do and how yo handle it. I mean hell, the last thing a cop ever wants to do is pull someone over with a gun. So what can I do to make the scenario better for both of us?

As far as driving and movement the Ruger is a larger frame gun and uncomfortable so it comes out (appendix carry) and gets magnetically stuck to my under dash (my 38 revolver is small enough it's not uncomfortable).

Those seem to be mostly downsides.

back when I was 17 I did want to get a gun permit... I did not know how laws worked here... but I did tell my dad... He just said “I’d rather you lose 20-50 bucks if you get mugged than your life if you’re mugged and you have a gun on you ”

That logic did not seem to make sense to me back then because I would’ve sworn that carrying a gun meant no one would even consider getting near you... But I’ve come around that.

Thought better and came back to edit that comment into something not dismissive and I’m kinja’d.

It takes a little work, finding The right holster and belt, few wardrobe tweaks, but it most certainly can be comfortable and practical. It takes a few seconds to put on and doesn’t have to come off for driving (even all day trips) or anything else.
